Don Ehrlich joined the San Francisco Symphony in 1973 and is currently Assistant Principal Violist. He holds degrees from the Oberlin Conservatory, Manhattan School of Music, and the University of Michigan, where he earned his doctorate. A dedicated music educator, he is a longtime faculty member at the San Francisco Conservatory and coaches young musicians each Saturday for the SFS Youth Orchestra.
